Vaccination
Vaccination is our best bet for relief from the pandemic crisis.
Quality
- The quality of vaccination could be strengthened with international coordination of real time analysis: percentage of vaccinated who test positive, percentage of vaccinated positives with symptoms, comparison by travel and border, comparison by product.
- The quality of vaccination could be strengthened by global consensus to definition of breakthrough.
- The quality of vaccination could be strengthened by additional dosing and timing of dosing data.
- The quality of vaccination could measure success by primary variant in circulation.
- The quality of vaccination could be strengthened by ongoing open data with SARS research.
Quantity
- The quantity of people served by public health could be strengthened with a real time map, a basic visual, for philanthropic and governmental reference. Where is the product, how much is still needed, and what is the trajectory for the country's supply/shipments? There is no consistently used, reliable map yet.
- The quantity of people served by COVID vaccines should drive continued support for organizations such as the World Bank,
- The quantity of people not yet vaccinated should shape ongoing national and international policy, and these numbers should be closely monitored.
- The quantity of people served by the COVID vaccine should continue to be a management priority: in anticipatory funding for COVID treatment versus mass vaccination clinics and with variant awareness.
- The quantity of people served by the COVID vaccine should be a catalyst for merging philanthropic ventures and coordination of donated care.
